Great to meet you!

Hello my name is Kerri Payne and I'm originally from Chicago. I lived in Boston, Sedona , Portland, Maine and New Mexico. I currently reside in Albuquerque and Truth or Consequences. I went to graduate school at Prescott University and studied somatic therapy. I have been trained in DBT, MRT, Brainspotting, EMDR, CBT , Mindfulness based somatic processing and couples counseling. I work with many professionals that suffer from self esteem issues and body dysmorphia. One of my favorite quotes is from Gandhi " Live simply so that others can just simply live." I am a very open minded person that my clients can open up too without judgement and radical acceptance.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client centered. My philosophy is its important to know your purpose, always have something planned to look forward to and have something to take care of (plants, fish, dog, kids etc). Many do not know their purpose. Together we can explore this. I also believe learning to love the self is imperative to a healthy life.
