Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of providing counseling and mental health services to children and adults. I have worked extensively with children with special needs as an education advocate for approximately 17 years. I enjoy working with couples, It also takes a lot of self-awareness and care to do that kind of work well—holding space for identity, culture, and lived experience all at once isn’t easy. The fact that I enjoy it usually means clients feel that safety within the counseling relationship.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is organic, inclusive, and integrative, blending CBT with multiple therapeutic modalities to support diverse needs. I am especially passionate about working with children facing educational difficulties and personal or family challenges, and I tailor interventions to promote emotional well-being, self-understanding, and healthy development.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming first session where they feel heard and supported. I take time to actively listen, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn about your goals, experiences, and strengths. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and begin building a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship.
