Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) and nationally certified counselor (NCC) with a master’s degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I provide trauma-informed therapy for children, teens, and adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, and difficult life experiences. I use EMDR, CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed approaches to help clients process painful experiences, develop practical coping skills, and feel more confident and in control. My goal is to provide a judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals, then tailor therapy to their needs. I integrate EMDR, CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed skills to help clients manage emotions, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful change. We work together toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope will change, and any questions or concerns you have. You will not be expected to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and developing a therapy plan tailored to your needs.
