I have a Master's in social work and have been practicing for over 35 years. I am very client- centered. My goal is for you to achieve what you are coming for. I strive to do itI t in the least amount of time as possible. I am certified in EMDR and trained in other trauma focused approaches.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgemental for you to examine your thoughts and feelings. I teach some coping skills and calming strategies. I try to give assignments or tasks to help you towards your goals.
I typically let the client set the goals and I function as a guide. Most of my client goals are to feel better, or get along better with others. I will from time to time check in the clients to see if they are getting what they need and if they think that we need to change approaches or directions.
