Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Kevin Schwarz, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist who specializes in working with ADHD, neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and executive functioning challenges.

I understand how exhausting it can feel to know you are capable of more while struggling to keep up with daily life, motivation, emotions, relationships, or self-criticism. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood rather than “too much,” “lazy,” or misunderstood. Together, we will work to better understand how your brain works and develop tools that help you build a life that feels more manageable, authentic, and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and individualized to your specific needs. I use an integrative style that combines evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed therapy, ERP, and neurodivergent-affirming care.

Rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all approach, we will work together to find strategies that actually fit how your brain functions. Therapy may involve building emotional regulation skills, improving executive functioning, processing trauma, challenging unhelpful beliefs, strengthening relationships, or developing systems that reduce overwhelm and burnout.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to explore what has been challenging for you, what patterns you may be noticing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting.

My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable, validated, and safe being honest about your experiences without fear of judgment. Together, we will begin identifying goals, understanding your strengths and struggles, and building a plan that feels realistic and supportive for where you are right now.
