I’m Kevin Stafford, LICSW, a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals manage life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. I specialize in supporting adults experiencing mild depression, anxiety, and adjustment difficulties. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as we work together to help you move from simply getting by to truly thriving.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel truly seen and heard—but also when they are gently challenged to grow. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy, along with a strengths-based perspective that honors each person’s unique story. Together, we’ll explore patterns of thought and behavior that may be holding you back, and work toward practical strategies that help you not only cope, but truly thrive.
Your first session is about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll move at your pace, discussing what’s been most challenging and what you hope to achieve. It’s a chance for you to experience how I work, ask questions, and see if the fit feels right. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to outline a plan that supports your growth and helps you move toward greater balance, confidence, and well-being.
