Great to meet you!

At Teatime With Khi, PLLC, I am inspired by the African American slang “spilling the tea,” which symbolizes the value of sharing one’s truth in a nurturing setting. I believe that when individuals feel free to express their authentic selves, they pave the way for life-changing opportunities. My approach is rooted in the belief that mental health diagnoses are merely a part of a person’s story, not their entire identity.

My approach to therapy

At Teatime With Khi, PLLC, therapy is not about staying stuck in the same cycle for years. It is about creating real change, building confidence, and helping you get where you need to be.

The tea is this: Khi is going to help get you right.

I specialize in short-term, goal-focused therapy designed for clients who are ready to do the work and see results. Most clients work with me for about 6–10 sessions, where we focus on practical strategies, mindset shifts, emotional healing, and accountability that supports lasting growth.

My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, meaning we spend less time dwelling on what is wrong and more time identifying what is already working, what needs to shift, and how to move you forward. I believe you already have strengths, resilience, and answers within you; my role is to help you uncover them, strengthen them, and use them effectively.

What you can expect from me

During your first session at Teatime With Khi, PLLC, we will spend time getting to know you beyond the surface. The intake session is designed to help me better understand your history, life experiences, current challenges, and the goals that brought you to therapy. Together, we will explore patterns, behaviors, thought processes, relationships, stressors, and emotional experiences that may be contributing to feeling stuck or disconnected from the life you want to create. This process allows me to identify underlying “stuck points” and barriers that may be interfering with your growth, healing, confidence, or progress. Since my approach is strengths-based, solution-focused, and goal-oriented, we are not staying stuck in the problem forever. The intake session helps us create a roadmap for meaningful change so we can begin moving toward solutions, emotional wellness, and real results.
