Great to meet you!

With over 30 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy, I am a highly credentialed, licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. My work is grounded in clinical excellence, compassion, and a deep understanding of how trauma and anxiety impact the mind, body, and spirit.

Trauma and anxiety are my areas of specialization. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. Together, we identify the root causes of distress, build practical coping strategies, and create a clear path toward healing and stability. Clients who engage in therapy with me consistently experience meaningful progress, emotional clarity, and lasting change.

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and empowering space—one where you feel seen, heard, and respected. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative, meeting you where you are while gently guiding you toward where you want to be. Whether you are navigating anxiety, past trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or emotional burnout, you do not have to face it alone.

Healing is a journey, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they rediscover hope, resilience, and purpose. If you are ready to invest in your emotional well-being and begin your healing journey, I look forward to working with you.

You are not broken—you are becoming.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and results-oriented. With over 30 years of clinical experience, I understand that no two individuals are the same and that healing is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor each treatment plan to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of the client while maintaining a strong clinical foundation rooted in evidence-based practices.

I work collaboratively with clients to help them understand how past experiences, trauma, and chronic stress may be impacting their current thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Therapy with me is both supportive and directive—providing a safe space to process difficult experiences while also offering practical tools, coping strategies, and insight that can be applied in everyday life.

I specialize in helping individuals manage trauma and anxiety, supporting clients in learning emotional regulation, grounding techniques, boundary-setting, and healthier thought patterns. My goal is not only symptom relief, but long-term healing, resilience, and emotional empowerment.

Clients can expect an environment that is non-judgmental, respectful, and affirming. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their pace, and empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey. Progress is measured through increased self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of control and hope.

Therapy is a partnership. Together, we work to uncover barriers, strengthen coping skills, and build a life that feels more balanced, grounded, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is designed to be a safe, supportive, and welcoming experience. Many clients feel a mix of emotions—nervousness, hope, uncertainty—and all of that is completely normal. My goal in the first session is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood.

During our initial session, we will spend time getting to know one another. I will ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any experiences or stressors that may be impacting your emotional well-being. You will never be pressured to share more than you are ready for—we move at your pace.

We will also review important information such as confidentiality, consent, and the structure of therapy, ensuring you understand how the process works and feel secure in the therapeutic space. Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing what you hope to gain from our work together.

Because I specialize in trauma and anxiety, I am mindful of creating emotional safety from the very beginning. You may leave the first session with initial coping strategies, grounding tools, or insight that can help you feel more regulated and supported between sessions.

Most importantly, the first session is about connection and clarity—establishing trust, answering your questions, and determining how we can best work together to support your healing journey.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Showing up is enough—and from there, we take the next steps together.
