Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Pennsylvania and Delaware, and I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have a particular passion for supporting clients who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, body image concerns, disordered eating, and eating disorder recovery.

My clinical background includes working closely with children, teens, and families in both mental health and medical settings, which has shaped my understanding of how emotional wellbeing is influenced by stress, family relationships, identity development, and the pressures many young people carry every day. I also understand that struggles with food, body image, anxiety, and self-worth often show up quietly at first—and deserve compassionate, thoughtful support.

I strive to create a therapy space that feels warm, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in self-criticism, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to help clients feel understood while building the insight, coping skills, and confidence needed to make meaningful change.

I’m also a doctoral candidate in Social Work, which reflects my commitment to providing evidence-informed care that is both thoughtful and deeply personalized. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, body image challenges, relationship stress, life transitions, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately, therapy can be a place to feel grounded, supported, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where clients can show up honestly—without fear of judgment, pressure, or having to “have it all figured out.”

I work from a strengths-based, relational, and trauma-informed lens, and I tailor therapy to each client’s age, needs, and goals. My work is often informed by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), insight-oriented therapy, and developmentally responsive approaches, especially when working with children, teens, and young adults. I also value helping clients understand not just what they’re feeling, but why those patterns may have developed in the first place.

I have a special interest in supporting clients who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, body image concerns, disordered eating, and emotional overwhelm. For many clients, therapy focuses on reducing self-criticism, improving emotional regulation, strengthening coping skills, and building a healthier relationship with themselves.

When appropriate, I also support parents and families in understanding how to better respond to emotional distress, communication struggles, and behavioral or eating-related concerns in a way that feels supportive rather than shaming.

Above all, my goal is to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, deeply heard, and able to move toward healing in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to begin building comfort, trust, and a clearer understanding of what support you need. My style is welcoming, calm, and low-pressure—I don’t expect you to have the “right words” or know exactly where to start.

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling difficult lately, and what you hope might feel different moving forward. I’ll ask questions to better understand your emotional experiences, current stressors, relationships, coping patterns, and any relevant history, while also making sure the pace feels manageable and supportive.

If you’re coming in with anxiety, body image struggles, disordered eating concerns, self-esteem issues, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed, we’ll begin identifying the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and talk about what healing could look like for you. If you’re a parent seeking support for your child or teen, we’ll discuss your concerns, your child’s needs, and how therapy can be structured in a way that feels developmentally appropriate and helpful.

My goal for the first session is for clients to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and hopeful—with the sense that therapy can be a space where they don’t have to carry everything alone.
