Great to meet you!

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Conflict Studies and Dispute Resolution from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling, with honors of distinction from Capella University. I am a trained mediator who loves the opportunity to allow clients to be exactly who they are, while they figure out who they want to be.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and I am excited to serve individuals as young as 14, couples and families. I am also excited to work with the at-risk population, juvenile and adult offenders. I have clinical training in the areas of, but not limited to, anxiety, trauma, depression, anger management, re-entry services, mood disorders, domestic violence and workplace stress. My therapeutic approaches include, but are not limited to, cognitive behavioral, narrative, solution focused, play therapy techniques, Gottman and emotionally focused therapy
