Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional therapist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions and the lingering effects of traumatic experiences. I graduated with a BA in psychology in 2008 and an MA in Community Counseling in 2010 from Northwest Christian University (now Bushnell University). My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and one of the reasons I was drawn to the counseling profession. For clients who desire it I welcome the opportunity to incorporate faith and biblical values into the therapeutic process. At the same time, you do not need to share my faith to feel comfortable working with me I have worked with many faith and belief systems, I respect each person's beliefs, values and individual journey and therapy will always be centered on what is important to you.

My approach to therapy

I provide a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, begin making sense of you experience, and begin to heal. My approach is primarily Person-Centered which means I believe therapy should meet you where you are rather than be a one-size-fits-all process. Together we will explore the patterns, experience and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you gain greater clarity, find your strengths and create lasting change. I want to help you achieve your goals, I like to say that I "walk alongside to help you move forward".

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and understanding what brings you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns, experiences, and goals, and we’ll begin creating a plan for our work together that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.
