Dr. Witkowski graduated with a B.A. from the University of Mass., a Master's Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina, a Master's Degree in Counseling from Webster University and a Doctoral Degree in Human Services from Walden University.

Dr. Witkowski has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1993 .

She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the National Association of Cognitive Therapist and The International OCD Foundation.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Witkowski's approach to therapy is supportive and collaborative. Specializations include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Relationships and stress. Therapy approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Short Term Therapy, Solution Oriented Therapy and The Gottman Method.

What you can expect from me

The first session is the initial assessment. This is an intake session and provides an opportunity for you to share your background which can include ; education, work history, medical history, mental health history and the challenges and problems which led you to this journey. This is also an opportunity to discuss your counseling goals.
