Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker having worked in mental health for the past 26 years, and as a licensed therapist for the past 15 years. My work has included individuals, youth, and families, but my strengths lie in work with adults and aging population. Much of my career has been in community mental health working with marginalized populations and the spectrum of mental illness from depression to schizophrenia. I also worked in home health and hospice for 5 years and gained significant insight and experience around health challenges, grief and loss, and end of life focus.

My approach to therapy

I work from a strengths-based perspective, despite current challenges we all carry strengths that have helped us to navigate life challenges. Mental health encompasses emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness, learning to view all of these areas as impactful and integral to achieving optimal outcomes.

What you can expect from me

Exploring you as an unique individual, what are your current concerns, what do you see as your biggest obstacles, what areas are working well, adequately, and/or really failing at this time. What are your goals, who do you have for support; are you safe; what are your resources for the journey ahead, and what do you need to build to carry you forward.
