Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming — and sometimes we all need support to find our way through. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the weight of past trauma, you don't have to figure it out alone.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work and years of experience helping individuals and couples create real, lasting change. My approach is warm, direct, and tailored to you. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all therapy experience — what works for you may look very different from what works for someone else, and I take that seriously.

In our work together, you can expect a space that feels safe and judgment-free, where you're encouraged to show up as your whole self. I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches and integrate your values — including faith, if that matters to you — into the healing process.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflict. My clients often describe feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected — and together we work toward clarity, healing, and a stronger sense of self.

I am currently accepting new clients and would love to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered — meaning you are always the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, not direct you.

I draw from a blend of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and strength-based approaches, adapting my style based on what resonates most with each individual client. No two people are the same, and I believe your therapy shouldn't be either.

I create a space where you can explore difficult emotions, unpack patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence. I am direct and honest while remaining warm and compassionate — I will celebrate your progress and gently challenge you when growth requires it.

For clients who are open to it, I also incorporate faith-sensitive perspectives, honoring the role that spirituality plays in overall well-being without imposing it on those who prefer a secular approach.

Above all, I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the foundation of meaningful change. My priority in every session is that you feel heard, respected, and supported.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about you feeling comfortable and getting to know each other — there's no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin.

We'll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. I'll ask some questions to better understand your background, your current challenges, and your goals — but this is also your opportunity to ask me anything. I want you to leave that first session feeling like you made the right choice, not overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next.

I take a relaxed, conversational approach in our initial meeting. You won't be handed a clipboard of worksheets or feel like you're being assessed. My goal is simply to begin building a genuine connection, because I believe that's where real therapeutic work starts.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer sense of what our work together might look like, and we'll begin to outline what your goals and priorities are moving forward. You'll leave with a sense of direction — and hopefully, a little more hope than when you walked in.

There's no perfect way to start therapy. Wherever you are right now is exactly the right place to begin.
