Great to meet you!

It's so good to meet you! As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe relationships and connection to be the breeding ground for growth and stability. I consider it a privilege to support clients as they navigate the transition to parenthood, heal from parental or childhood wounds, move beyond "survival mode" by developing strategies for a more manageable and sustainable life, and identify and understand unhelpful relationship dynamics to cultivate more fulfilling and meaningful interactions.

My approach to therapy

I believe that what shapes your life is deeply connected to the people, places, and communities you're a part of now, or have been in the past. My approach is all about looking at those foundational "homes" as we explore the life experiences, both old and new, that show up in your day-to-day. It’s important to me that we speak openly and honestly, and that you feel respected as you share your story with me. I commit to listen closely, gently challenge when needed, and support you as we journey together.

What you can expect from me

Your initial session will be a relaxed and private conversation where I’ll learn about your background and what has prompted you to seek therapy. I know how challenging it can be to open up to a stranger about your life, so I strive to create an environment that is warm and welcoming, and paced in a way that allows you to be vulnerable while feeling secure. Through this conversation, some goals may naturally take form while others we collaborate to create. From there, we will work together to make your goals a reality.
