Great to meet you!

Kimberly Hamilton-Harris, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience treating individuals across the lifespan. She earned her BSN at Oakwood University and completed her graduate degree at Stony Brook University. She provides integrated, evidence-based care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma. Her approach includes medication management and supportive therapy tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to offer a safe, inclusive space for people of all backgrounds to feel heard, respected, and supported in their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My philosophy is to provide a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care that emphasizes collaboration, education and inclusivity. The goal for treatment is to engage clients as active participants in treatment planning and decision-making, ensuring that their needs, goals and preferences shape the care plan.

I provide psychoeducation to help clients understand their conditions and explore treatment options with confidence.

Recognizing the impact of trauma, my approach is with sensitivity, and respect, creating a safe, trauma-informed environment where clients feel heard, validated and supported as they heal.

My model includes skillful medication management when appropriate, carefully balancing medications with psychotherapy and other supports to promote overall wellness. Offering psychotherapy, using gentle, empathetic techniques to help clients explore emotions, behaviors and life challenges in a nurturing, nonjudgemental space.

The overall goal is to empower my clients to build resilience and improve their mental well-being.
