Great to meet you!

I have been a nurse for over 12 years, with much of my career focused on substance use and addiction. Throughout my work, I have had the privilege of supporting people through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives, and those experiences have shaped the way I approach mental health care today.

I am passionate about helping people recognize their own strength and discover how much power they have in their ability to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. I believe every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and never judged.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe effective mental health care starts with truly understanding the whole person, not simply focusing on a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.

I work with clients to understand what they are experiencing, identify their goals, and develop a treatment plan that feels realistic and meaningful to them. When medication is appropriate, I believe in thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing and ongoing collaboration to find the approach that works best for you.

My background in substance use has given me a deep understanding of addiction, recovery, and the ways mental health and substance use can intersect. Above all, I want clients to feel empowered in their treatment rather than feeling like treatment is something simply being done to them.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to care. We will talk about your current concerns, your mental health history, your goals, and the things that are important to you.

I want you to feel comfortable being honest and open without fear of judgment. Together, we will identify what you would like to work on and begin developing a treatment plan that fits your individual needs and goals. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a sense of hope about what is possible moving forward.
