Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Walden University. I have experience working with people across the lifespan and welcome individuals from all walks of life. I currently offer virtual-only therapy sessions, providing the flexibility and comfort of receiving support from wherever you feel most at ease.

I specialize in working with OCD and trauma, and I draw from evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate whatever brings you to therapy.

I also use a humanistic approach, meaning I focus on you as a whole person and tailor therapy to your unique experiences, needs, values, and goals. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to help you move toward the life you want.

I welcome people from all walks of life and strive to create an environment where you can be your authentic self. Whether you're struggling with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, the effects of trauma, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone. My hope is that you leave each session feeling respected, understood, and a little more empowered than when you arrived.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I'm honored to be invited into that process. We can take things at your pace, with compassion and without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I’ll also ask questions about your background, relationships, and experiences so I can better understand the whole picture of what you’re going through.

There’s no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. We’ll take things at your pace, and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

We’ll also talk about what therapy might look like moving forward and explore approaches that may be helpful based on your needs and goals. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is important to me, and we’ll work together to create a space where you feel safe and supported.
