Great to meet you!

Trauma can change the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. It can be hard to know how to move forward. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with many years of experience treating PTSD and helping people recover from traumatic experiences. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care and work collaboratively with each person to understand what they need to heal. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your life, reconnect with what matters most to you, and move toward a future that feels meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatments. My goal is to create a therapy environment where you feel respected, understood, and supported while also feeling empowered to make meaningful changes. I use treatments that have been shown to be effective in helping people heal from traumatic experiences. We will work together at a pace that feels manageable while also gently addressing the thoughts, memories, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. I also believe that healing is about more than simply reducing symptoms, it is about helping you reconnect with the people, activities, and values that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you have been experiencing, how it is affecting your life, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll also answer any questions you have about my approach and the treatment options that may be helpful for you. If you are seeking treatment for PTSD or trauma, you will not be expected to share every detail of your experience during our first session. We will take the time to build a trusting therapeutic relationship and develop a treatment plan together that feels appropriate for your needs and goals. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.
