Great to meet you!

I love helping people find and identify the different parts of themselves and how they present different roles and faces depending upon the situation or environment. I have a Masters in Social Work from Walla Walla University. I have experience working with trauma, Native American Cultures, and anxiety. I specialize in using horses as therapy or Equine Assisted Psycotherapy.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I like to use a body based approach as often times we get so caught up in our heads, our cognitive processes, that we forget to listen to our bodies too. Our bodies have a lot to tell us and when we can connect the cognitive and the somatic messages we become attuned with ourselves to promote healing.

What you can expect from me

My sessions are often client led in the fact that you are the expert on YOU! I am not a therapist that does worksheets unless they are really needed. Homework may be included, but it will often include someway for you to do self-care between sessions. Each person has different needs and desires, so goals and the environment may look different. However, when you enter session with me you can expect a warm and unconditional environment where we can talk and laugh about the hard stuff in life.
