Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am so excited that you have decided to put "YOU" first! My name is Konje Byron, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina. I specialize in working with individuals who suffer from anxiety, difficulty coping with life stressors, grief and loss, relational conflict, communication challenges as well as those navigating and adjusting to life transitions. I have an extensive history of working with individuals with trauma and offer trauma informed care. I also have a heart for parents who may be overwhelmed with life's demands and need a safe space to BE and breathe!

My approach to therapy

As a Faith Based Counselor, I enjoy an eclectic approach to treatment. My modality of choice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as I believe that our belief system shapes our lives and drives our decision making. I also enjoy integrating experiential modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Polyvagal Theory to support emotional regulation, increase self-compassion and improve personal growth.

What you can expect from me

At Safe Spaces Heal, LLC, my goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, validated, and empowered. Whether you are processing childhood trauma, navigating grief, struggling with parenting challenges, or seeking deeper self-understanding, our work together will be guided by your unique needs and goals.
