Great to meet you!

Reaching is an important first step, and I'm glad you're here. For nearly 30 years, I've worked with children and teens in schools, from early childhood through high school, so I understand what kids are facing in the classroom, with friends, and at home. As a licensed clinical social worker, I've supported families through anxiety, depression, stress, friendship and social challenges, learning differences, grief, school-related concerns, and times of crisis.

Whether your child is going through a difficult moment or has been struggling for a while, I'm ready to help them feel like themselves again and to support you in your parenting journey. Additionally, I offer parent consulting: practical guidance and strategies to support your child at home and at school.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, personal, and tailored to you or your child. I draw on cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, child-centered, and family systems techniques, along with mindfulness and social skills practices kids can use in daily life. I meet each client where they are and work forward from there. I believe a trusting partnership leads to the best outcomes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll focus on getting to know your child (or you, if you're the one seeking support): what's been going on at school, at home, or with friends, and what you're hoping changes. For younger kids that often looks like play and conversation together; for teens, it's more direct talk. From there, we build a plan around your family's specific goals, so you know what we're working toward from day one.
