Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan, I approach my work with a warm, compassionate presence and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth. I walk alongside individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, postpartum challenges, and grief, creating a safe space where they feel seen, supported, and understood.

I also specialize in couples, premarital, and marriage counseling, helping partners reconnect, communicate with care, and build strong, healthy relationships. My heart is to meet clients exactly where they are, offering encouragement, practical tools, and a judgment-free space to process life’s hardest moments.

My goal is to support you through every season, helping you find clarity, strengthen your relationships, and experience meaningful emotional and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

  • Attachment-Based Therapy to explore relational patterns and strengthen emotional security
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to deepen connection and healing in relationships
  • The Gottman Method to build practical skills, enhance intimacy, and foster long-term relationship health
  • Person-Centered Therapy for a warm, validating, client-led experience
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support practical skill-building and healthier thought patterns

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is all about getting to know you, your story, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I take a warm, relational, and down-to-earth approach, creating a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and not rushed.

We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what has been weighing on your heart or mind. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; we move at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll ask gentle, guided questions to help us understand your experiences, strengths, and the patterns you want to change.

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions about the therapy process. I’ll explain my approach, which includes attachment-based work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method for couples, and cognitive-behavioral and person-centered techniques so you have a clear sense of how we’ll work together.

By the end of the session, we’ll create a collaborative plan for your goals, whether that’s reducing anxiety, healing from grief, navigating postpartum challenges, or strengthening your relationship. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling hopeful, heard, and confident that you’re not walking this journey alone.
