Hi there! I'm licensed in Florida (LMHC) and New Mexico (LPCC). I primarily see adults or college students presenting with trauma, relationship issues, boundary issues, and anxiety disorders. I love working with individual clients and creating a safe space. I believe the therapeutic relationship and therapeutic fit is foundational to successful therapy.
I'm trained in EMDR therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Emotional Triggers Imagery Treatment, Prepare & Enrich Premarital Counseling, and Circle of Security Parenting. I utilize solution focused narrative therapy, boundary implementation, and focus on attachment needs in sessions. I establish specific goals with each client and tailor therapy to their needs and preferences.
In the first sessions, I focus on building rapport, getting to know a client's history, and creating a safe space before moving onto other therapeutic goals and modalities.
