Great to meet you!

I have a double Master's and a Doctoral degree in psychology. I began my graduate study In NYC in 2006 doing research and clinical work in attachment theory both with young children and adults. It was there that I witnessed the impact of early and adult attachments. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings and each time I witnessed the fundamental human need of a secure, responsive and safe connection and the impact of isolation and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, stress (work, marital/divorce, parenting, illness trauma, loss infertility, hormonal changes) and relationships challenges. I am warm and curious, respecting each person's lived experience. Together, we will explore and gain insight into what is shaping your view of self, others and experiences. I utilize integrative and empirically based models to help you gain more satisfaction in your life and relationships.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will explore the reasons you came to therapy. I will listen and be curious, attempting to understanding your story, presenting concerns and relationships. We will work collaboratively to identify your struggles and goals for therapy.
