Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with teen girls and adult women navigating trauma, anxiety, mood concerns, and self-esteem challenges. My approach is client-centered, affirming, and informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

I want therapy to feel like a space where you can exhale, be honest, and show up as your whole self. We'll work together to understand your experiences, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical tools to help you move forward.

I'm compassionate, down-to-earth, and believe in meeting people where they are. We'll do meaningful work together, and yes, there is room for humor along the way. Healing is hard work, but every session doesn't have to feel heavy.

Outside of the therapy room, I spend my time chasing four kids and two French Bulldogs, practicing my green thumb, and reading as often as I can. Life is full, rarely perfect, and often a little chaotic—and I think there's something comforting about being able to laugh at the messiness of being human.

You don't have to wait until you're completely overwhelmed to ask for help. You don't have to find the perfect words or know exactly where to start. You just have to be willing to begin.

My approach to therapy

We'll take things one step at a time, at your pace, with compassion, curiosity, and a little humor when you need it. You deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward a life that feels more like your own.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating. Maybe you're nervous about opening up to someone new, unsure where to begin, or wondering if you'll know what to say. First, take a breath. You don't need to have the perfect words, a neatly organized timeline of your life, or everything figured out before you walk through the door. That's what we're here to work on together!

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore what you'd like to get out of our time together. I'll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, what's been challenging lately, and what support might look like for you. We'll also talk about your goals and how we can work together to help you move toward them.

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and affirming. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and sharing at your own pace. You don't have to tell your entire life story in one session, and there's no pressure to dive into anything before you're ready. Building trust takes time, and we'll honor that process.

I believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling stiff or overly clinical. We'll do important work, learn new tools, and explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck—but there is also room for laughter, honesty, and the occasional "well, that explains a lot" moment.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you'll have a better sense of who I am, how I work, and whether this feels like a space where you can be yourself. You deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported.

You already took a meaningful step by considering therapy. You don't have to do everything at once. Just come as you are, and we'll take it from there. đź’›
