Great to meet you!

My professional journey began over ten years ago as a teacher, where I discovered my passion for helping others solve problems and witnessing them discover new things about themselves. I grew most interested in social and emotional learning, which led me to pursue a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the past four years as a psychotherapist, I have enjoyed helping my clients understand themselves more deeply and overcome challenges that once felt insurmountable.

My approach to therapy

My approach begins with curiosity and a firm belief that there are identifiable explanations that underlie how we think and behave: our quirks, anxieties, inhibitions, and other issues that hinder wholehearted living. Once we understand those reasons, pathways to change emerge.

If desired and requested, I also offer counseling through a spiritual lens and a Christian worldview.

What you can expect from me

Sessions with me are warm, and I meet my clients exactly where they are. We will begin with a bird's-eye view, then identify the core areas of concern and potential therapy goals. As we go, you can expect to build healthy coping skills, gather effective tools, and gain alternative perspectives and narratives that support growth and healing.
