Great to meet you!

You might be struggling with conditions like addiction, depression, anxiety, or grief. I know how important it is for you to have open, genuine conversations where you feel truly heard and understood. After completing my MSW degree at the University of Kansas, I began practicing and have been licensed for 23 years. I have advanced training in Mindful Self Compassion therapy.

I understand grief and addiction from personal experience. I spent the majority of my counseling career helping to heal individuals who were incarcerated for substance use and mental illness. I have now pivoted to private practice where I find many people struggle with daily life and family issues. I offer in person appointments in Beaverton on Tuesday and Thursday evenings..I look forward to working with you for solutions.

My approach to therapy

As an eclectic and holistic therapist, I adapt my approach to your goals, using CBT, Mindfulness, and Compassion-Based Therapy, plus support for Body, Mind, and Spirit. I specialize in adults facing mood disorders, addictions, grief, and parenting challenges. I work exclusively with indidual clients to give you the most individual treatment. My expertise includes Mindful Self-Compassion, meditation, somatic practices and education regarding alternative modalities of treatment.

What you can expect from me

In your first few sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. From there, we will identify your strengths and barriers, equip you with tools and resources for personal growth, and support you in becoming the best version of yourself. I believe in a connected conversational approach with clients..

Change is possible for everyone. Give yourself the gift of healing—I'm eager to hear from you. Reach out today!
