Great to meet you!

I'm an LCSW working with adolescents, adults, and seniors via telehealth in Idaho. Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, trauma, PTSD, or major life transitions. Seeking support takes courage, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Arizona University and my Master of Social Work from Boise State University. Prior to private practice, I have worked for years in an acute mental health unit and as a social worker in one of Idaho's busiest emergency departments, supporting individuals through crisis, trauma, and some of life's most difficult moments. I also bring nearly two decades of experience as an adoptive parent, foster parent, and court appointed special advocate (CASA) for children in foster care.

Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, direct, and practical. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered. I draw from CBT, DBT-informed skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to help clients understand patterns, build effective coping skills, and create lasting change. I don't apply the same method to everyone because different people and different concerns call for different tools. What I care about is figuring out what is actually getting in the way for you and building coping skills you can use outside of the session. Not just insight. Something practical. Together, we'll focus on your goals while developing tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. I'm collaborative and I pay attention. If something is not clicking, I'll adjust.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, history, strengths, and goals so we can begin creating a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. My approach is warm, supportive, and direct, and I want you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead. There is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable discussing.
