Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma, and I am passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, compassion, and hope, and I believe deeply in the possibility of redemption, healing, and meaningful change.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oral Roberts University and became certified in Special Education in Oklahoma before returning to Oral Roberts University to earn my Master’s degree in Counseling. My background in both education and counseling has given me a unique appreciation for the many ways people experience, process, and navigate life.
I use an integrative approach tailored to each client, drawing from CBT, ACT, EFT, Story Work, and EMDR. I am also trained in the Gottman Method for couples counseling and have specialized training in working with individuals with mild to moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I especially enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and autism spectrum concerns. I have a particular passion for supporting those who have experienced trauma, difficult family dynamics, or church hurt. As an EMDR clinician, I help clients process painful experiences that may continue to affect their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and lives today.
I deeply value each person’s unique story and consider it an honor to help clients recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck and take meaningful steps toward healing and lasting change. For clients who desire it, I also integrate Biblical principles and a Christian perspective into counseling.
Above all, I want counseling to be a place where you feel welcomed, valued, and supported as you move toward greater healing, hope, and the life you were created to live.
