Great to meet you!

Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking long-term support, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and unwavering care.

As a mother of five, I understand the complexities of life, relationships, and emotional resilience. I became a therapist to help others feel less alone and to guide those struggling with mental illness toward hope and healing. I’m passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health and helping people reclaim their voice, strength, and sense of self. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults across a wide range of challenges — including anxiety, trauma, and depression.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Minnesota and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, non-judgmental, and deeply person-centered. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strengths-based practices to help clients feel safe, seen, and empowered. I believe healing begins with connection — and I strive to create a space where clients can show up as they are, without shame or fear.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. We'll take time to get to know each other — I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and any concerns or questions you may have. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with; there’s no pressure to dive deep right away. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or just unsure where to start, this first session is about building trust and laying the foundation for your healing journey. You're not expected to have all the answers — just showing up is a powerful first step.

Would you like a version of this for your website, intake paperwork, or email response to new inquiries? I can also help write a welcome message or FAQ section.
