Great to meet you!

My name is Kristin Doyle (she/her) & I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Simmons University & my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work. As a queer person of color, I am deeply committed to creating spaces that are LGBTQIA+ affirming & anti-racist. I know how important these spaces are, & how difficult they can be to access. I provide individual psychotherapy to adults and have six years of clinical experience.

My approach to therapy

My work with clients is relational and collaborative. Most of my work has been supporting predominantly queer and trans clients and people of color, adoptees, & larger-bodied clients. My work with clients primarily draws from liberation psychology. I also bring my values of anti-oppression, Health at Every Size, and Disability Justice to my work.

What you can expect from me

I bring warmth, humor, and open-mindedness to my sessions. This is especially true during the intake session due to how overwhelming first sessions can feel. Pacing and being client-centered are both important to me. I want to work together to create an environment that feels helpful and empowering.
