Great to meet you!

I am a clinically trained social worker with extensive experience in the school setting (predominately with adolescents). Additionally, I have worked in end of life/hospice care for the past 6 years. I enjoy working with youth and families around school related issues and my goal is to support your family during times of growth and stress. Pre bereavement and bereavement work are also a passion of mine. We all have, or will, experience great loss and my goal is to support you during this time.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative and supportive process, where you can feel safe to be yourself without judgment. I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, drawing from a range of evidence-based methods.

In our work together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, build insight into patterns, and develop tools that help you move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. I place a strong emphasis on creating a genuine, trusting relationship, because feeling understood is often the first step toward real change.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges with confidence, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant background information that helps me better understand your experiences.

I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and collaborate with you to start identifying what you’d like to get out of our time together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this first session is about moving at your pace and beginning to build a sense of comfort and trust.
