Great to meet you!

I’m Kristin Ratcliffe, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work. I bring experience in community-based care, crisis intervention, inpatient hospitalization, and individual and group therapy. I utilize evidence-based approaches to support clients through life’s challenges and can integrate faith-based counseling upon request.

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and direct. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and supported as they build insight, resilience, and practical skills for meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and direct. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and supported as they build insight, resilience, and practical skills for meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

We’ll talk about what led you to seek therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and any concerns you’d like support with. I’ll ask questions about your current stressors, relationships, mood, and overall functioning, but you’re always in control of what you choose to share. There’s no expectation to “have it all figured out” or to go into detail before you’re ready.

We’ll also review logistics such as confidentiality, boundaries, and how therapy works, so you know what to expect moving forward. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and what support might be most helpful for you. Many clients leave their first session feeling relieved, clearer, and reassured about next steps.

Most importantly, the first session is about building comfort and trust—going at your pace and creating a foundation for meaningful work together.
