Great to meet you!

With more than 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker, I've had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life. I've worked across the lifespan with children, adolescents, adults, and families from a wide range of cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. I truly enjoy meeting people where they are and believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, respected, and understood.

One of the things I value most about therapy is the relationship we build together. I believe meaningful change happens when there is trust, safety, and genuine connection. My goal is to create an open, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself, explore life's challenges, and work toward the changes that matter most to you.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to support individuals in many different settings. I supervised crisis services for 10 years and later led a Children's Intensive Outpatient Program for seven years, experiences that strengthened my ability to remain calm, compassionate, and collaborative during life's most difficult moments. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Maine and continue to bring both clinical expertise and curiosity to every client relationship.

Outside of my work, you'll often find me exploring the outdoors or enjoying musical theater—I'm a bit obsessed! I believe balance, joy, and meaningful connections are essential parts of overall well-being, and I strive to bring that same spirit into the therapeutic space.

Whether you're navigating a major life transition, managing stress or anxiety, working through past experiences, or simply looking for someone to walk alongside you, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it begins with a genuine relationship. My approach is warm, open, and collaborative, creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I meet each client where they are, recognizing that everyone's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside you to understand what's most important in your life and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop a path forward that feels realistic, empowering, and tailored to your needs.

Whether you're navigating a life transition, facing a difficult season, or simply looking to better understand yourself, my role is to provide support, encouragement, and practical tools while honoring your pace. I believe lasting change happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported, and I'm committed to building that foundation with every client I work with.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll spend time learning about what brought you to therapy, what's important to you, and what you're hoping to gain from the process. You'll also have the chance to ask questions and get a feel for my style and approach.

I believe it's important that therapy feels like a good fit, so we'll explore your goals together and begin identifying what support might be most helpful. There is no expectation to have everything figured out in our first meeting—it's simply a starting point. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
