Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping people navigate life transitions, relationships, anxiety, trauma, and the patterns that can keep them feeling stuck. I earned my PhD in psychology and have continued to expand my training throughout my career, including specialized training in EMDR, hypnosis, NLP, and other approaches focused on healing and lasting change.

I believe therapy is about more than simply managing symptoms. It can be a place to understand how your experiences have shaped you, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and create meaningful change in how you feel, relate, and move through your life. My goal is to provide a space where you feel genuinely understood while also helping you move toward the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and active. I want therapy to feel like a genuine conversation where you can be yourself, feel understood, and also be gently challenged when it helps you grow.

I take an integrative approach, meaning I draw from different therapeutic methods depending on your needs rather than using the same formula with everyone. Together, we look at both what is happening in your life now and the experiences, beliefs, relationships, and patterns that may be influencing it. I especially enjoy helping clients identify patterns they are ready to change, strengthen boundaries and self-trust, and develop new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who they are becoming.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is primarily about getting to know you—not just what brought you to therapy, but who you are and what you would like to be different in your life. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what has and hasn’t helped in the past, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You can expect a relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you need or where to begin. We’ll figure that out together. By the end of the first session, my hope is that you feel heard, have a clearer sense of what we can work on, and feel that we have a direction moving forward.
