Great to meet you!

I am a social worker, a mother, a grandmother and a lover of living life creatively. I love children, animals, nature, and most anything to do with the water by way of paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming.

I meditate daily and make use of the many coping skills I have learned to help me live my life to the fullest. I do believe that a positive attitude, happiness and laughter are undeniably the best medicines.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is humanistic and holistic in nature focusing on trauma and health and well being. Integrating many years of bodywork and a Masters Degree in Social Work has lead me to a Somatic/Integrated body/mind approach for the past 20 years.

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and a Somatic EMDR Practitioner. The mind and body are meant to work as one unit, connected, where all parts need to be integrated to achieve a state of wellness

What you can expect from me

During your first season we will complete an assessment, work on relationship building, talk about what you would like to get out of therapy and define some goals to work towards meeting your needs.

New skills will be introduced during each session for clients to practice throughout the week.
