Great to meet you!

You deserve to feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful changes in your life. Sometimes anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or past experiences can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. I have 13 years of experience supporting adults and seniors navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and relationship challenges. I also work with concerns such as substance use, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, family difficulties, stress, chronic health conditions, women's issues, and life transitions. My background in mental health and family studies, along with specialized training in vocational rehabilitation and chemical dependency counseling, allows me to consider the many parts of your life that influence emotional wellbeing. I believe meaningful growth begins with feeling accepted for who you are, and I look forward to helping you recognize your strengths, build confidence, and discover new possibilities for your future.

My approach to therapy

Our work will focus on understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and helping you create changes that feel meaningful and sustainable. We'll explore how your mental health may be affecting your emotional wellbeing and everyday life. I may use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you navigate difficult emotions while staying connected to your personal values, Internal Family Systems Therapy to better understand different parts of yourself and develop greater self-compassion, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to recognize thought patterns that may be contributing to distress. Person-Centered Therapy ensures that your experiences, needs, and goals remain at the heart of our work, while Motivational Interviewing can help you explore change at your own pace. My integrative approach allows us to consider the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms, creating space for healing, self-discovery, and lasting personal growth. Our sessions will be collaborative, supportive, and grounded in your individual goals.

What you can expect from me

I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe enough to show up as your authentic self. I strive to create a compassionate, empowering, and nonjudgmental space where you don't have to have all the answers or feel pressured to make changes before you're ready. I want to understand not only what you're struggling with, but also the experiences, relationships, and strengths that have shaped who you are. Together, we'll explore patterns, emotions, and challenges that may be getting in the way of the life you want while developing practical coping skills and meaningful tools for change. I'll walk alongside you with curiosity, encouragement, and support as you work toward greater confidence, connection, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are. When you are ready, you can schedule your first session with me directly through Headway.
