I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina with over three years of professional counseling experience providing individual, family and group therapy for individuals from childhood to adulthood. I have over eight years of experience working within the mental health field serving populations to include at risk youth, homeless, substance abuse and individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities.
Building a great rapport and trusting counseling relationship can be a vital step to seeing progress in therapy. I work from a person-centered approach and am able to work with my clients from an integrative standpoint to meet their needs meaning I utilize different counseling interventions derived from trauma focused, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, play, solution focused, strengths based and motivational interviewing techniques.
