Great to meet you!

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative — we'll work at your pace, but with real direction, so sessions feel purposeful rather than like talking in circles. I draw most heavily on EMDR, an evidence-based approach that helps your brain finish processing experiences that got stuck, along with cognitive-behavioral and person-centered methods tailored to what you actually need. Many clients notice meaningful shifts sooner than they expected. All sessions are secure video visits, so you can do this work from the comfort and privacy of your own home, anywhere in Oklahoma or Texas.

My approach to therapy

I work with teens and adults who've reached a point where pushing through on their own just isn't working anymore — anxiety that won't quiet down, sadness that's overstayed its welcome, relationships that keep hitting the same walls, or old experiences that still feel heavy. Before private practice, I spent years counseling in schools, so I'm especially comfortable with teens, young adults, and the parents trying to support them. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not broken — you're human, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Reaching out is the hardest step, and you've already started by reading this.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to be different — and you only share what you're ready to share. I'll ask some questions to understand the full picture, answer any questions you have about me or how therapy works, and by the end, we'll sketch out an initial direction together so you leave knowing what comes next, not just wondering if it helped. Since we meet by video, all you need is a private spot and a decent connection — pajama pants are entirely optional but fully supported. Most clients tell me the hardest part was scheduling; the session itself is easier than they feared.
