Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan – from special operations members and healthcare professionals to students, parents, and retirees.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, grief, relationship challenges, communication issues, anger, resentment and life transitions – whether that’s starting college, becoming a parent, navigating retirement, coping with medical diagnoses, or stepping into new leadership roles. At times, I incorporate coaching strategies when they align with a client’s goals and context. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy – every person brings a unique story, background, and culture.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe me as genuine, trusted, and deeply invested in their growth. My aim is always to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

My career has taken me from college counseling centers and hospitals to outpatient clinics, leadership development programs, private practice, and remote camps in Afghanistan, where I served as an Army Officer. These diverse settings have shaped a practice grounded in adaptability, empathy, and evidence-based care.

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, completed my clinical internship at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Georgia, and pursued additional training through the Clinical and Operational Psychology Post-Doctoral Residency at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I completed Board-Certification in Clinical Psychology in 2012.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and existential frameworks.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will collaborate with you help us get a solid understanding of what is bringing you to treatment. We will discuss potential treatment options and goals, as well as assess how comfortable you might be working with me. This will be highly important throughout our work together.

I prioritize thorough assessment, collaborative goal-setting, and ongoing review to ensure our work remains aligned and impactful.
