Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Kylee Parks and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I love helping people feel seen, heard, and valued. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals and backgrounds, supporting people through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, and low self-esteem. I believe a strong, trusting relationship is at the heart of therapy, and I’m committed to building that trust with you, one session at a time.

My approach to therapy

I bring a warm, upbeat energy to therapy and love working together as a team to help you move toward what matters most to you. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and open space where you can show up just as you are and feel comfortable sharing whatever’s on your mind—no pressure, no judgment. You don’t have to navigate things alone; we’ll team up and move at a pace that feels good for you, focusing on what matters most to you along the way. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy to support our work together and help guide the process in a way that fits you. I can also provide Christian counseling upon request.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a space for us to meet and talk about what's on your heart. Many people feel nervous at the beginning, and that's okay. My goal is that towards the end of the session, those nerves have dissipated, and you have an idea of what our time together will look like. I use our first session just to get to know you. There is no pressure to tell me every aspect of your life, just what you are comfortable with.
