Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Canisius University and am currently completing an additional Master of Science in Clinical Service Operations through Harvard Medical School. My clinical background spans a wide range of levels of care and populations, including community mental health serving refugee populations and individuals with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), inpatient eating disorder treatment, and inpatient through outpatient addiction programming.

In addition to my clinical work, I have previously served in executive leadership roles, including Executive Director and Clinical Director positions within treatment programs, giving me a systems-level understanding of how clinical care, operations, and outcomes intersect. This perspective informs my work with clients who are navigating complex life transitions, burnout, identity shifts, and entrenched patterns that feel difficult to change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in attachment and existential perspectives, meaning we’ll spend time exploring how your relationships, life experiences, and sense of meaning have shaped the patterns you may feel stuck in today. I believe real change happens within a strong and honest therapeutic relationship, so I work collaboratively and transparently, creating a space where you can show up as you are without judgment. Along the way, I integrate practical, evidence-based tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you navigate everyday challenges and move toward the life you want to be living. My style is direct and thoughtfully challenging, balanced with humor, warmth, and genuine empathy - supportive when you need it, and honest when growth requires it.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to be collaborative and thought-provoking. I want to learn about what made you seek out therapy and what your goals are. I want you to walk away feeling like I got a good understanding of who you are with a clear direction for where we're going with your treatment.
