Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, trauma, relationship concerns, boundaries, and self-esteem. You may be someone who looks like you have it all together but spends a lot of time second-guessing yourself, replaying conversations, worrying about disappointing others, or feeling stuck in patterns you know aren’t working.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you understand what’s keeping you stuck, recognize your strengths, build practical skills, and feel more confident trusting yourself and your decisions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and pretty laid-back. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest about what's really going on without worrying about being judged. We'll identify your strengths, explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical strategies that fit your life. I won't just sit back and nod, I’ll ask questions, offer different perspectives, and challenge you when it may help you grow. I also believe therapy doesn't have to feel serious every second, so there's usually room for humor along the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you, not expecting you to have everything figured out. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's been feeling difficult, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to be different. Together, we'll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and discuss what therapy might look like moving forward. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where I'll listen, ask questions, and help you start making sense of the patterns or challenges you're experiencing.
