Great to meet you!

You’re beginning a journey toward less emotional pain and more contentment and joy, and it’s an honor to walk alongside you. Becoming a therapist was a meaningful second career for me after 25 years in business leadership. That experience, along with my own encounters with loss and trauma, allows me to deeply understand how overwhelming life can feel at times. I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported as we work together toward healing.

My approach to therapy

As a licensed therapist in Indiana and Michigan, I help individuals and couples reduce anxiety and depression, process past trauma, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. My approach combines science-based methods such as Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and neuropsychotherapy. Together, we work to calm the nervous system, understand automatic reactions, and develop new responses that create more peace and stability in your life. For couples, I incorporate the Gottman Method to help rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen connection.

What you can expect from me

From the very first session, my goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe being open and honest. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while beginning to build trust and understanding. I believe all emotions are valid, and you’ll be met with compassion and respect. During our first meeting, we’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you and begin identifying practical tools that can help ease emotional pain. Together, we’ll start shaping goals that move you toward a life with more connection, clarity, and joy.
