Great to meet you!

My belief is that therapy is a space where you should feel supported, heard, understood, and empowered without judgment. Whether it be anxiety, depression, trauma, anger or stress management, self esteem/ doubt, domestic violence, LGBTQ issues, ect. I want to combine informed guidance with honest conversations to help you navigate challenges in life. My approach is warm, compassionate, and straightforward. I meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and work alongside you to build confidence, recognize your strengths, and create lasting change that is meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in understanding and supporting your whole being. By creating a safe, welcoming space where you will feel heard, valued, and comfortable being yourself. I believe in balancing compassion with a direct, honest approach that encourages self-awareness and growth resulting in meaningful change. I will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to consistently identify negative thought patterns and challenge unhelpful beliefs to develop healthier coping strategies. We will address thought records and behavioral activation. The use of Exposure Therapy will directly result in gradually helping clients confront feared situations or triggers in a structured, supportive manner. I use Person-Centered Therapy to meet you where you are so you can progress further in life. By using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and regularly identifying client strengths, we will explore solutions, and set realistic, achievable goals. I received my graduate degree in Social Work at Wayne State University in 2022 and my bachelor's degree in Social Work at Wayne State University in 2020. Currently I am an LMSW, QIDP, QMHP.

What you can expect from me

From the first virtual meeting we will begin building rapport. We can remove the initial jitters by having a clear concise conversation about your goals and how I can best assist with attaining them. I believe therapy works best when it is authentic, consistent, and collaborative. This is your space and we will progress at your pace. By blending compassionate support with evidence-based, practical strategies proven to help clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and create lasting change.
