Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lacie Glasser, LPCC, a therapist dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly be heard. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey; we work as a team to navigate the challenges holding you back. Whether you are managing anxiety, depression, or the complexities of life transitions, I utilize evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you challenge negative thought patterns and build a practical toolkit of skills. For those processing the impact of past events, I am also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help you find a path forward. My goal is to support you in setting meaningful goals so you can move into a life that feels vibrant and worth living.

My approach to therapy

We all face seasons where the weight of our experiences feels too heavy to carry alone. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative partnership where empathy meets action. I specialize in helping clients process trauma and manage intense emotions through a blend of evidence-based modalities tailored to your unique journey:

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): A specific approach to help you unstick the thoughts and "stuck points" keeping you tied to past trauma.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A method to help you identify and reshape the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): A skills-based approach focused on mindfulness, emotional regulation, and navigating difficult relationships.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A way to help you stay present and take action guided by your personal values, even in the presence of difficult emotions.

My approach is designed to help you do more than just survive. We won’t just manage your symptoms; we will dive into the "why" behind your patterns and equip you with a toolkit for lasting change. From processing the past to mastering the present, I am here to help you find your footing again.

Take the first step toward a clearer tomorrow. Schedule your session now.

What you can expect from me

Walking into a first session can feel overwhelming, so I prioritize a structured yet gentle start. Our first 50–60 minutes are about laying the foundation for our work together. Here is what we will cover:

  • Building Rapport: Our primary goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, safe, and heard. We will take time to get to know one another and establish a trusting environment where you can speak freely.
  • The Diagnostic Assessment: To best support you, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment. This helps me understand your history, your current symptoms, and the specific challenges you’re facing so we can pinpoint exactly where to start.
  • Your Questions & Curiosities: Therapy is a transparent process. This is your time to ask me anything about my approach, the different modalities we might use (like DBT or ACT), or what the treatment process will look like for you.
  • Developing a Plan of Action: Before we wrap up, we will begin outlining a clear path forward. We’ll discuss your goals and start identifying the initial steps we’ll take to help you regain your footing and move toward a life worth living.

You don’t have to have all the answers right away; we’ll figure them out together.

All sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection."
