Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Lakeshia Williams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with confidence, resilience, and hope.

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling and have extensive experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges.

My approach is warm, supportive, and goal-oriented. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients develop effective coping strategies, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change.

I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives, and my role is to provide guidance, insight, and practical tools to help them navigate challenges and achieve their goals.

I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths. Together, we focus on practical solutions that promote meaningful and lasting change.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and personal growth issues. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they move toward healing, resilience, and overall wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will explore your concerns, goals, strengths, and any challenges you may be facing. This conversation helps me better understand your needs and allows us to begin developing a plan that supports your growth and well-being.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and begin building practical strategies to help you move toward the life you want. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult season or pursuing personal growth, I am committed to partnering with you on your journey.
