Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My work is grounded in a systems and relationship-focused perspective, helping clients better understand themselves within the contexts of their relationships, life transitions, and identities. I earned my undergraduate degree from Berea College and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. I commonly work with anxiety, identity development, relationship and communication challenges, parenting stress, family conflict, and emotional regulation, and I aim to support clients in creating meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and relational. I work to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and heard, while also helping them gain insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I draw from family systems, attachment-based, and evidence-informed practices, tailoring my approach to each individual or couple rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I focus on strengthening communication, increasing emotional awareness, clarifying values and identity, and building tools clients can use outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where we focus on understanding what brought them to therapy and what they hope to gain from it. We’ll talk about current concerns, relevant history, and any immediate stressors, while also beginning to identify goals that feel realistic and meaningful. My priority is helping clients feel comfortable and supported, establishing a clear direction for our work together, and setting a foundation for therapy that moves at a pace aligned with their needs.
