Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctoral degree in Psychological Counseling, and I have extensive experience supporting adolescent girls and women as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. My work focuses on helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered while building practical skills to create meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically and explore both current challenges and deeper patterns that may be impacting their well-being. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, strengths-based interventions, and EMDR to help clients process difficult experiences, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier coping strategies

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.

During this session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, current concerns or challenges you may be experiencing, and any goals you hope to work toward. I may also ask questions about your background, relationships, stressors, mental health history, and supports so I can better understand your experiences and how to best support you.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. You are welcome to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about therapy, my approach, and what our work together might look like.

By the end of the session, we typically begin identifying initial goals and discussing next steps. Most importantly, you should leave with a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit for you.
